Langtang Valley with Ganja la Pass trek 14 days, that takes you to the well-known Langtang region and the Ganja La pass 5122m. Besides, we also make an attractive pleasure trip to Tserko Ri 5000m which offers marvelous views of the Langtang Himalaya range with other beautiful snowy mountain. Another attraction of the Langtang region is that it is so close to Kathmandu and Langtang region is also famous for its Gosaikunda Lakes (Holy Lake). Furthermore, the huge of green rhododendron and bamboo forests, magnificent waterfalls, and snowy Himalayas create the trek one of most varied treks close to Kathmandu. The people of the highlands of the Langtang region are definitely the Nepali, being the descendant of the Tibetan origin, they still look like Tibetans people and language also similar as Tibetan.
We begin the venture with a day bus drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The trek begin from Syabrubesi, via the Lama Hotel, Langtang Village, Kanyanjing Gompa crosses the mighty Ganja La pass, and ends at the Melamchipul Bazaar in the Helambu region. After getting we will Melamchipul drive back to Kathmandu.

At Kathmandu, we provide three star hotel rooms with breakfast twin sharing base. During the trek, we provide nice lodge or guest house room with common toilet and bath twin sharing base. For Ganja La Pass three nights we provide tent with cook, if you need a Single room we will charge extra $250 (Kathmandu and trek) but high season not so easy to get single room on the way Langtang Region and Helambu Region.
Langtang Valley with Ganja la Pass trek 14 days, Eco Tourism Adventure Pvt. Ltd provides different kind of food like Nepali, Continental and Indian with one cup of tea and coffee. We provide welcome dinner Nepali cousin with Nepali culture dance and farewell dinner at K2 steak house (best steak in Kathmandu). Breakfast Kathmandu hotel provide a lot of items you can choose yourself and other guest house you can choose one items in the menu with cup of tea and coffee.

Ltd, Langtang Valley with Ganja la Pass trek 14 days is moderate trek basically hikers have to hike per day 3 to 4 hours with daypack except some days are longer hour than 7 to 8. High altitude hike anyway need energy and experience, we have one day’s acclimatization day Kengjin Gompa that absolutely help for your altitude fitness, have a positive attitude, self-confidence and physically powerful determination, and we can achieve the trek successfully. If Around month jogging regularly before this trip is a great idea to improve our power and performance. Past glacier hiking experience would be a great advantage for Ganja La Pass but no climbing technical skill is required for this trip. Before booking this trip it is a great idea to consult with your doctor and if you have any disease better inform us.
We have two best seasons in the year like autumn and spring, Autumn best month is mid September to mid December and spring best month is mid February to May this two seasons are the best seasons for this trek because of the weather is fine and warm with perfect views but the nights are chilly and can drop to freezing level in higher altitude. Winter season is also good for Langtang Valley with Ganja la Pass trek the only problem is cold. Trekking in summer season will be affected by rain but the summer trek could. The trekking routes are not crowded like a spring and autumn.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1330m
Arrival at the Airport in Kathmandu, we will be greeted by a representative from Eco Tourism Adventure Pvt. Ltd. will take your hotel. Today the trek leader will check our equipment to make sure for one last time to get us ready for our adventure. This step will also ensure that if any equipment is found faulty we have the rest of the day to fix it or find equipment that works. After checking in the evening there will be a welcome dinner in a Nepali Restaurant where we will be able to enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine. Hotel Overnight. Included meal: (D)
Day 02: Drive to Syabrubesi 1470m 7-8 hours
Today after breakfast, we leave Kathmandu in the morning for Syabrubesi, a town which is also the starting spot for treks into the Langtang Valley with Ganja la Pass trek 14 days. Our drive will be on a winding road through common switchbacks. On a clear day we get to enjoy dazzling views of Manaslu, Annapurna and Ganesh Himal. Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel 2500m 5-6 hours
Today after breakfast, we begin our first day trek to Lama Hotel along the Langtang Khola from Syabrubesi. We climb and climb down all together through oak and rhododendron forests. After crossing a hanging bridge over the Langtang Khola, we climb on a steep trail which will lead us directly to the Lama Hotel. Lodge Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D)
Day 04: Trek to Langtang village 3307m 5-6 hours
Today after breakfast, we continue uphill from Lama Hotel and enjoy the mountain scenery with plentiful waterfalls. As we get to the green meadows of Ghoda Tabela village (meanings of place “Horse Stable”), we begin to see the white peaks of the Langtang Himalaya range. Our trail continues to climb up the widening valley, passing some temporary settlement used by herders. We pass a Buddhist monastery before getting the Langtang village which was affected by 2015 earthquake; the valley is now completely open for business. Lodge Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D)
Day 05: Trek to Kyangjin Gompa 3870m 4-5 hours
Today after breakfast, we will begin our journey to Kyangjin Gompa, a main monastery of the Langtang region. We pass by water flour mills, prayer wheels, some chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions fixed on them. We also pass by the biggest mani wall in Nepal, made from stone with Om Mani Padme Hung prayers written on them. After the one of the beautiful short trek, we spend the rest of time after hot lunch exploring the Buddhist shrine in Kyangjin Gompa(Monastery), visiting cheese factory and with the wonderful views of the mountains. Day 06: Acclimatization Day and Explore Tserko Ri 5000m 7-8 hours
Today after breakfast, we spend the full day climbing Tserko Ri 5000m which will also help us acclimatize to the high altitude for our next adventure Ganja La Pass 5122m. We begin early in the morning. The trail passes through beautiful Nak(female) and Yak(male) pastures before climbing uphill to Tserko Ri. The sunrise view from the top of Tserko Ri is astonishing like a Langtang Lirung 7246m, Kimshung 6781m, Ganjala Valley, and Langshisha Ri 6370m after Tserko Ri 5000m we get back to Kyangjin Gompa by same way. Day 07: Trek to Ganja La phedi 4300m 5-6 hours
Today after breakfast, we will start our adventure journey to Ganja La Phedi via Crossing the Langtang River, climb up through rhododendron forests. Normally it takes to get our destination around five hours if snow fall or ice on the way it takes longer than that. Winter season definitely we can get snow and ice here. Tent Overnight. Day 08: Trek to Keldang 4250m via Cross the Ganja La pass 5122m 6-7 hours
Today after early morning breakfast, we cross the Ganja La pass 5122m. Ganja la pass is covered with snow almost all the way through the year. Create the long climb up through the boulders via passing the small lakes, and summit the Ganja La Pass which situated on a nice rocky moraine. After getting on the top of pass, definitely everyone being happy with the magnificent Snowy Mountain with lower valley views. From the Ganja La pass, we slowly move down to Keldang. Tent Overnight. Day 09: Trek to Yak Kharka 4000m 5-6 hours
Today after breakfast, we start trek to Yak Kharka. From Keldang, we descend further down following a main ridge line. Around 5 to 6 hours trek, we continue losing our altitude through forests, ridges, and Yak and Nak grazing grasslands. Tent Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D)
Day 10: Trek to Tarke Ghyang 2560m 5-6 hours
Today after breakfast, we trek to Tarkeghyang. Today’s trail descends until we cross the Melamchi Khola(Melamchi River). Then we trek all the way uphill to Tarkeghyang passing through Helmu village. Find out the village and its monastery which is one of the oldest and main monasteries in the Helambu region. The village is more popularly known as Helambu, since a large amount of the population belong to the Helmu ethnic group or caste. Lodge Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D)
Day 11: Trek to Sermathang 2610m 3-4 hours
Today after breakfast, we are do not gain altitude that much today; it's going to be comparatively easy walk today then previous day. We are passing on the way via forests, streams and waterfalls. Trail flows along the Parachin and the Sherpa village of Gangyul. After Gangyul, we arrive at Sermathang village. After hot lunch we have plenty of time to explore to the village. Day 12: Trek to MalemchiPul Bazaar then Drive to Kathmandu 3-4 hrs trek 2 hours drive
Today after breakfast, our final day of the Helambu trek, we trek down to MalemchiPul Bazaar. The village is mostly populated by the Sherpa, but there are also people of other ethnic group like Tamang Helmu and more. After getting the Melamchipull Bazaar, we drive back to Katmandu. After getting Kathmandu we can have the rest at hotel or whatever next as you like to do. Hotel Overnight. Included meal: (B,L)
Day 13: Kathmandu Full day sightseeing
Today after breakfast, we start a city guide tour to several of the most historical and religious attraction in Kathmandu. The sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhist shrine (Bouddhanath), which is one of the largest stupas in the world. With Eco Tourism Adventure will celebrate our successful trip in the Langtang Valley trek by providing a farewell dinner. Hotel Overnight. Included meal: (B,D)
