Introduction:

Manaslu Circuit Trek 17 Days begins by drive to Soti Khola via Arughat then next day start hike in the beautiful Manaslu region with few days Annapurana region. While on the journey we find to sensation at the outstanding views of Mt. Manaslu 8163m, which is eight highest mountains in the world, with other mountain view too, joined with a chance to witness the wealthy local heritage and biological variety of the region. Main distention of in this trek is the ‘Larkya La Pass 5160m’ which is extensively believed to be one of the most spectacular pass trips in the Himalayas. Our itinerary included acclimatization day during treks because of health experts recommended for high altitude. Most of the trek involves hiking on beautiful mountain trails except one hard day during crossing Larky La Pass 5160m.

Eco Tourism Adventure Pvt. Ltd provides two kinds of accommodation during Manaslu Circuit Trek 17 Days. At Kathmandu, we provide three star hotel rooms with breakfast twin sharing base. During the trek, we provide nice lodge or guest house room with common toilet and bath twin sharing base. If you need a Single room we will charge extra $215 (Kathmandu and trek) but high season not so easy to get single room on the way Manaslu Region.

Food:

Manaslu Circuit Trek 17 Days, Eco Tourism Adventure Pvt. Ltd provides different kind of food like Nepali, Continental and Indian with one cup of tea and coffee. We provide welcome dinner Nepali cousin with Nepali culture dance and farewell dinner at K2 steak house (best steak in Kathmandu). Breakfast Kathmandu hotel provide a lot of items you can choose yourself and other guest house you can choose one items in the menu with cup of tea and coffee.

Physical Requirements:

Eco Tourism Adventure Pvt. Ltd, Manaslu Circuit Trek 17 Days is moderate with difficult for one day trek basically hikers have to hike per day 4 to 5 hours with daypack except some days are longer hour than 8 to 9. High altitude hike anyway need energy and experience, we have one day’s acclimatization day Samagaon 3530m that absolutely help for your altitude fitness, have a positive attitude, self-confidence and physically powerful determination, and we can achieve the trek successfully. If Around month jogging regularly before this trip is a great idea to improve our power and performance. Past glacier hiking experience would be a great advantage for Larky La Pass 5160m but no climbing technical skill is required for this trip. Before booking this trip it is a great idea to consult with your doctor and if you have any disease better inform us.

Best Time to Travel:

We have two best seasons in the year like autumn and spring, Autumn best month is mid September to mid December and spring best month is mid February to May this two seasons are the best seasons for this trek because of the weather is fine and warm with perfect views but the nights are chilly and can drop to freezing level in higher altitude. Winter season is also good for Manaslu Circuit Trek the only problem is cold. Trekking in summer season will be affected by rain but the summer trek could. The trekking routes are not crowded like a spring and autumn.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1330m

Arrival at the Airport in Kathmandu, we will be greeted by a representative from Eco Tourism Adventure Pvt. Ltd. will take your hotel. Today the trek leader will check our equipment to make sure for one last time to get us ready for our adventure. This step will also ensure that if any equipment is found faulty we have the rest of the day to fix it or find equipment that works. After checking in the evening there will be a welcome dinner in a Nepali Restaurant where we will be able to enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine. Hotel Overnight. Included meal: (D)

Day 02: Drive to Sotikhola 710m 8 - 9 hours

Today after breakfast drive to Sotikhola. During the day, we enjoy drive Nepal’s small high way drive with views of the Nepalese landscape along Trishuli River with the beautiful mountain sceneries. About road condition until Dhading Besi is perfect after that until SotiKhola via Arughat is not so nice any we will get Soti Khola at evening. Lodge Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D)

Day 03: Trek to Maccha Khola 900m 6 - 7 hours

Today after breakfast, we will start hike around Manaslu circuit trek after the crossing of the small bridge, we trek through the attractive forests, then climb on a ridge above huge rapids on the Budhi Gandaki. We will hike today via Khorsane, Labubesi and other small village, until Labubesi from Khursane rocky trail clinging to the side of a cliff. We more climb following a rocky outcrop, where the gorge opens up and the Budhi Gandaki meanders between extensive gravel bars. We hike along round stones before climbing over a side ridge. Day 04: Trek to Jagat 1410m 6 - 7 hrs

Today after breakfast, the narrow trail brings us to Khorlabesi village then after a few more ascends and descends we get to the small Tatopani (hot spring) village. From the Tatopani village, we cross the Budhi Gandaki on a new suspension bridge. Then we hike well crafted stone stair, then across a landslide and over a ridge to Yaru Dobhan. Upon crossing a longest suspension bridge along bank of the Budhi Gandaki River, after we cross one more Budhi Gandaki, we climb over a ridge, trek along the river and then climb get to the village of Jagat. Day 05:  Trek to Deng 1804m 6 - 7 hours

Today after breakfast, we begin our trek by climbing over a rocky ridge to Salleri to Deng via sirdibas, Ghatte Khola, Philim, Ekle Bhatti, Nayak Phedi and another one small Village. Today we cross twice Budhi Gandaki River to get Deng, about trail today is easier than previous day, we are enjoying a lot short ascend and descend until our distention small village Deng with Sringi Himal view. Day 06: Trek to Namrung 2630m 6 - 7 hrs

Today after Breakfast, we cross the Budhi Gandaki and ascend to Rana at 1910m. From Rana get to the Namrung via Bhi Phedi, Gap, Pork Village and Jungle Hotel.  The bridge, we climb a bit to join a trail from Bhi, then head west up Budhi Gandaki valley. The trail also passes through forests and mani where we turn towards a corner that contours to Ghap. Even though there is another route, we take the route through Prok village. Prok village has a viewpoint for a beautiful sight of Siringi Himal. We further cross the Budi Gandaki several times today and come across several gompas en route. The trail follows the river upstream through a dense forest. After crossing the river at an impressive spot where it thunders down a narrow gorge, the forest becomes less dense and the trail is fine again. The pleasant walk continues and after a last steep climb we reach Namrung. Lodge Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D)

Day 07: Trek to Samagaon 3530m 6-7 hours

Namrung village is a good viewpoint for Siring and Ganesh Himal and from the village one can also see Mt. Himal Chuli in the south. We climb steadily and pass through forests and reach Lihi, a fine village with many chortens and barley terraces. The trail drops and crosses the side valley of Simnang Himal with Ganesh Himal always close by. We further pass through Sho, Lho and Shyala villages before reaching Sama Village. We enjoy extraordianary views of Mt. Manasly from Lho village and also explore the famous Ribung Gompa. In Shyala village we will be surrounded by high mountains like Himal Chuli and Peak 29 (Ngadi Chuli) to the left, Manaslu and large glaciers straight ahead, and other snow summits to the right, and at the far end stands Ganesh Himal. Today’s journey ends in Samagaon where we spend the night. Lodge Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D)

Day 08:  Samagaon - Pungyen gompa - Samagaon: 6 - 7 hours exploration

We spend the day at Samagaon both for rest and acclimatization. Today, we get acquainted with the rich Sherpa culture. We enjoy the sight of thousands of mani stones with Buddhist texts and pictures and the Sherpa women clad in traditional clothes and ornaments. On a little hill near the Sama village is an old Gompa (Pungyen Gompa), a monastery with great views of the glacier. It is named after Manaslu, Pungyen means bracelet, a good description of the two peaks. It was destroyed a year after the first unsuccessful Japanese attempt to climb Manaslu. The locals believed that the climb angered the gods, and when the Japanese came back a year later they met with a lot of resistance that they had to give up their attempt. They were finally successful in 1959. Lodge Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D

Day 09:  Samagaon - Samdo [3860m 4 - 5 hours

Today, we descend to the Budhi Gandaki River, that has turned north and follow it to a bridge over a side stream. The trail to the left leads to the Manaslu Base camp. The Larkya la Trail passes several mani walls as the valley begins to widen. It is an easy trail on a shelf above the river passing the juniper and birch forests of Kermo Kharka. We drop off the shelf, cross the Budhi Gandaki on a wooden bridge and climb steeply onto a promontory between two forks of the river. From a stone arch we can view a large white kani. Finally passing through the kani we find Samdo. Lodge Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D)

Day 10:  Trek to Dharamsala 4460m 4 - 5 hours

Even today, we continue our walk down the edge, cross the wooden bridge over Budi Gandaki and begin walking upward. Upon crossing two streams and witnessing the Larkya Glacier we go around the valley of the Salka Khola and climb up again to the stone guest house (4450 m), which is not a lodge but a kind of shelter called Dharmshala, also known as Larke Phedi. The short walk today also leaves plenty of time for acclimatization and relaxing in the afternoon. Lodge Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D)

Day 11:  Trek to Bimthang 3720m via Larkya la 5160m 8 - 9 hours

After a short climb, we reach a valley on the north side of the Larkya Glaciers from where we can enjoy great views of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. Finally, we walk across moraines of the glacier, making a gradual ascent which becomes steeper only in the last section of the pass. From the pass, there are outstanding views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru and the huge Annapurna II. It is a longer day than usual to Bimtang, but to walk into these low pastures with the evening mist coming in with Mt. Manaslu looming close by is an overwhelming experience. Lodge Overnight. Day 12: Trek to Tilije 2300m 5 - 6 hours

From a ridge at Bimthang, we can enjoy great views of Mt. Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal and Cheo Himal. We descend further and cross a high pasture (Sangure Kharka) followed by a bridge over Dudh Khola. We walk through rhododendron forest and follow a trail through a narrow valley until we reach the highest cultivated land of the valley at Karche, 2785 meters. We pass across fields before making a steep climb over a ridge. The trail comes off the ridge in a big, sweeping arc to the river bank at 2580m. A short distance beyond is the village of Gho. Due to yesterday's tiredness we might take an overnight rest at Gho but better lodges are available at Tilije, so Himalayan Glacier recommends we stay at Tilije. Overnight in Tilije Village. Day 13:  Trek to Jagat 1700m 5 - 6 hours

We climb over a small ridge and enjoy the stone paved trail as it passes through a beautiful village. We then cross the bridge over Dudh Khola and climb up through a chorten-shaped arch, pass a mani wall and reach the Thonje village. At the village, we go through a police checkpoint and continue to Dharapani. We have entered the Annapurna circuit section from Dharapani. Further down, we come across Karte village and after quite a bit of walking we cross a bridge over Marshyangdi Khola. We also come across some mani walls before reaching the village of Jagat, Overnight in Jagat. Lodge Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D)

Day 14:  Trek to Bulbule 900m 6 - 7 hours

We follow the trail to Bahundada village crossing the Marshyangdi Khola once again. The Marsyandi valley opens with its terrace fields and villages clung very high to the hillsides. The trail then descends through rhododendron and and pine forests to Bulbule. Overnight in Bulbule. Lodge Overnight. Included meal: (B,L,D)

Day 15: Drive to Kathmandu: 8-9 hours

The drive from Bulbule to Kathmandu via Besi Sahar offers one an opportunity to enjoy both hill and mountain landscapes. The drive is often along the banks of the Marsyangdi and Trishuli rivers. We also drive by some beautiful villages with farming terraces on both sides of the road. In Kathmandu, we will be escorted to our hotel.  Overnight in Kathmandu. Hotel Overnight. Included meal: (B)

Day 16: Kathmandu full day Sightseeing

Today city sightseeing of Kathmandu valley with city guide (Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath stupa, and Darbar square ). The day in Kathmandu can either be spent in leisure or perhaps we catch up with some last minute shopping. To celebrate the successful completion of our journey, we will have a farewell dinner in the evening. Hotel Overnight. Included meals: (D)

Day 17: Final departure

Today transfer to international airport the sorry to say good bye.  Included meals: (B)
